On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Rote Erde Stadium, Borussia Dortmund presents an exclusive special jersey. The jersey incorporates central design elements of the stadium that have been preserved to this day and shape the unique atmosphere of this historic place. The pattern of the jersey is inspired by the two entrance gates of the stadium, particularly the distinctive Marathon Gate. The sleeves, collar, and flock reference the characteristic running track that surrounds the playing field and has been part of the sporting events for decades.The color scheme and appearance of the BVB logo are inspired by the sandstone of the walls that have framed the venue since its opening in 1926. The inscription "100 Years Rote Erde Stadium" can be found on the back of the jersey.
