The away jersey 24/25 for women is all about the motto "Borussia connects." Therefore, this inscription on the black jersey with a yellow chest area is not only visible in writing but also in hand signs of sign language and in Braille, and it is also tactile in the neck area. BVB founding father Franz Jacobi once said: "The quality of a football club is reflected in how it meets its social responsibilities." The BVB aims to fulfill this claim repeatedly under the motto "Borussia connects" with various actions. The jersey represents the diversity of the club and the ongoing work against racism, anti-Semitism, LGBTIQ*-hostility, sexism, and discrimination to promote an open society. As part of the "RE:FIBRE" process, supplier PUMA has used recycled polyester in the material composition for the away jersey. With the help of a new technology from PUMA, new fabric is created from unused polyester, which will now be implemented in the jerseys.
